Six Rows starts with Madea — Aubrey's great-great-great-great grandmother, the matriarch whose portrait rides every bag of Six Rows Coffee. Coffee is this family's thread: from her table, through the family business that began as Gentle Will, to Gentle Will's Garden, the agrihood rising in Newton, Texas — built in part by what the coffee earns. Black Coffee Club is where that coffee meets its people: a monthly 21+ social at The Houston Club, founded by Aubrey and Siobhan McCoy, pouring Six Rows and gathering Houston's growers, chefs, and coffee lovers around one long table.
