The short version
Profiles are consent-first. No chef or farm is listed publicly on Farm2Chef as bookable or available unless they have recorded their consent with us. If you ever see yourself somewhere you didn't agree to be, contact us and we will remove it — removal requests are honored promptly and permanently.
We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
What we collect and why
When you submit a form on this site — the Protein Pool survey, a chef application, a demo request, an order, the readiness quiz, or feedback — we receive exactly what you typed: your name, contact details, and the substance of your request. We use it to do the thing you asked for: match you with a rancher, reach out to a chef, build your order, or answer you. Order and payment records are kept on the ledger that closes each order.
Contact details shared in a request (for example, a farmer asking us to reach out to a chef) stay private between the parties we introduce — we make introductions; we don't publish phone numbers or emails.
Form submissions receive a confirmation email from us. Program emails (like the Field Notes newsletter and the Chef Co-op newsletter) are opt-in — Field Notes signup stores only your email and, if you give it, your name — and every opt-out is honored permanently; opting out also closes any profile or listing tied to that address.
