Farm2Chef · Chef Practice

Your meal-prep practice, run like a platform.

Meal prep today is texts, spreadsheets, and a payment link held together by memory. Farm2Chef Chef Practice replaces all of it: your clients pick their meals in their own accounts, your orders roll up into a production list, and your ingredient list becomes a sourcing sheet matched to 1,407 farms — so the meals you cook pull the local supply chain with them. Nobody else's software connects those two ends.

Claim your founding practice How it works

Founding enrollment is open now. Client selection opens December 1; practice tools open January 5 — the timeline is on this page, in the open, because we'd rather you watch it being built than buy a promise.

What your practice runs on

Clients who select, not text

Each household gets an account. They pick meals, portions, swaps and skips for the week — against their own dietary profile, so allergies and dislikes filter the menu before you ever see the order. You stop chasing selections by text message.

A back office, not a spreadsheet

Orders aggregate into production lists and per-household packing views. Your roster, menus, pricing and service days live in your chef profile — the same profile that already puts you on the demo board and in front of employers.

Sourcing, connected

Your week's selections break down into an ingredient list, matched to directory farms by ZIP and to the Protein Pool for meat. One sourcing sheet instead of six phone calls — and farmers see real demand coming from real chefs.

And when the house itself connects

Private-chef households get a Household Code: the family generates it, hands it to you, and you're connected to that household — their preferences, their pantry, what's actually in the fridge — with permissions the family controls and can revoke. Agrihoods and high-rises are joining as communities, so a practice can also mean a neighborhood of households arriving through one door. That's the roadmap, phased below — founding chefs are on it first.

One price, built to be fair at every size

Chef Practice

Free → $49/mo

  • Your first 3 households are free — a starting book costs you nothing
  • From the 4th household: $49/mo for the whole practice, not per client
  • Client selection portal — households pick their own meals weekly
  • Dietary profiles shared with recall alerts — one profile per household
  • Production lists + per-household packing views
  • Sourcing sheet matched to the farm directory + Protein Pool
  • Household Code + pantry connection (Phase 3)
  • Community demand — agrihood & high-rise households (Phase 4)

And when a practice outgrows flat pricing's logic, it moves to an enterprise value price — scale should cost you less per household, never a bigger cut of your book. The 85/15 split you already know applies only to clients the platform itself sends you.

The trust standard: chefs who cook in a family's home are Premium — background-checked through Homebase. Co-op members reach Premium at $30 of membership, by the $30 fast-track, or right away on the $60 year. Premium unlocks in-home work, the full core library (all of Siobhan's videos and instructions), and first notifications on employer opportunities.

Founding chefs lock the $49 rate. Founding enrollment is a one-time $49 founding fee — it covers your first month when the practice tools open on January 5, and your rate stays $49/mo for as long as your practice stays active. Pay the founding fee right here, then claim your seat with the form below — we match payments to enrollments by email.

We'll email your confirmation and founding payment link. Submitting this form claims your founding seat — the $49 founding fee is paid through the link in that email, and it covers your first month when the tools open. Your information is never sold or shared.

One Kitchen. One Ecosystem.

Your practice plugs into the same house as everything else: the farm directory your sourcing sheet draws from, the demo board that books your market days, and the markets building chef programming into their seasons.
