Farm2Chef · Learn — Instructors

Teach here. We hold the standard with you.

Every Farm2Chef class is taught by a working chef, grower, or practitioner — and held to one standard. Instructors get a private hub — the approved lesson guides, their class history, and a reminder before every session with the guide and prep list attached. The platform tracks what's been taught and what comes next, so no instructor carries the program in their head.

The standard — and how we keep it

Approved guides

Every session teaches from an approved facilitator guide in the program library — the same guide the students' handouts come from. Instructors bring their craft; the guide holds the curriculum, so what's taught is consistent, ethical, and auditable by our institutional partners.

A visible record

Your profile carries what you've taught and what's ahead. Sessions move scheduled → ready → delivered → closed, and the record — attendance, completion, recordings — is data the program reports on, not paperwork you chase.

Support, not surveillance

Periodic observation, learner feedback, and content review run as a coaching cycle. The point is a stronger class next time — and a program our partners can stand behind.

Your instructor hub is private

Every instructor works from their own private hub — your classes, your students, your guides, your class record, and what's ahead live in your account, not on a public page. Sign in and your hub is waiting on your account home.

Barista Instructor Track

Kyle Martin — Lead Barista Instructor

Teaches: Foundations of Specialty Coffee · Brewing Mastery (Intermediate) · Home Barista Intensive · Guided Diaspora Tasting. Also leads Black Coffee Club sessions. His sessions are experiences, not certification courses — hands-on, friendly, and everybody leaves brewing better coffee.
Up next: Brewing Mastery — Monday, October 26, 6:00–8:00 PM.

Profiles live with their people

An instructor's full profile — their library, their class history, their upcoming sessions — lives in their own account, and it is theirs. What appears here is the public introduction: who teaches, what they teach, and what's next. On Farm2Chef, members' identities stay protected — people see each other's profiles when they've connected as friends, the way neighbors meet on a garden crawl and choose to stay in touch.

Baristas: source your coffee here, too

A barista profile on this platform isn't only for teaching. You can source coffee through the platform — farmer-direct lots from the same sourcing family we work with, matched locally by your ZIP: roasting and pickup partners near you, sample kits for instructors, small lots for home baristas, recurring supply for working baristas and cafés. The farm is named, the price stays fair in every direction, and sourcing members see new lots at platform cuppings first.
